I purchased some showgirl eggs on line and they are hatching now. do newhatches have naked necks? it's really hard to tell if theirs are.

you should be able to tell right away if they are showgirls. The neck feathers are not there when they are born.

This is one of my showgirls right after it hatched. I was dumb and sold it a few days ago.

If they are bearded and have a good bowtie, it can be hard to see right away. Here's a newly hatched SG that almost fooled me.

Thanks. Seems like we are getting a lot of off whites, greys and blacks. Maybe its time to lock the whites together. We are getting some decent beards/bowties.
