I have 3 chicks out of 19 that are 7ish weeks old they each have this lump on their neck/chest/shoulder area. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m raising them to sell and I am concerned! Does anyone know what this is? Will it go away? Will the chicken die? Attaching pictures.

Also the 3 with these lumps are different breeds.

I forgot I treated them with Corid about a 3 weeks ago for cocidosis or whatever it is called. The chicks were at my friends house. She put them in her barn where other birds were before but she didn’t clean it and then the new chicks had bloody pop within days. But now since treating we have had no bloody poo. I also removed them from her barn and took them to my house.

Ok, that’s what I thought. But it’s staying much larger than the other chicks and there’s almost like a bald spot on it. Is that normal? I need to take a picture of the other chicks too.
The lump is their crop. It gets large when they eat. It stores food for digestion.
I just came across another thread and you told someone to massage it. I will try to do that but I still have one with this issue and it smaller than the others and loosing or broken feathers and balding on all its body.

Yes, it's normal. Only time to be concerned is if the crop isn't emptying overnight, or goes sour.

That was for an impacted crop, which your chicks most likely aren't suffering with.
