I have a chicken that has laid around all day. and now is drooling from her mouth. She is hot when I picked her up.
Yesterday I found a egg with very thin shell. and today found yolk but no broken eggs?

Is she overheated or dehydrated from the heat? I would try to cool her in a bucket of cool--not cold water in case of heat stroke, then put some electrolytes in her water and get her to drink. How old is she? She may have had an egg break inside of her, but the heat exhaustion is more important now if it is that. When you have done everything else, give her some calcium (Tums, human calcium tablet, or some crushed egg shell or oyster shell.

HOMEMADE ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION from The Chicken Chick.com
1/2 teaspoon salt substitute*
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon table salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 gallon water
*Salt substitute is readily available in most stores in the spice aisle near the salt, but if you do not have it, don't worry, the solution will still have most of the benefits intended to combat heat stress.
