I was a vet tech years ago for a vet that refused to work on monkeys or any primate for that matter bc of the increased risk of zoonotic disease transmission. I was completely on board with his ruling. Now if I had worked for an exotic animal vet I'd have taken the good with the bad, but that wasn't his area of practice so it was a perfectly fine by me.

Oh I already appreciate silence. I often let him nap for longer than I should because I don't want to deal with him at that moment. I pay for it at night though.

So is your plan to work with local wildlife? Rehab & rescue type stuff? We need more of that I think but I know a lot of folks think it's "interfering". I call it paying our dues as so many wildlife issues are caused by use in one way or another.

Chickens are more experienced than the prisoners who escaped Alcatraz when it comes to jail breaking! My whole 100 bird flock escaped yesterday

I locked them in the coop; blocked the door from the outside.

Yep! It has a chemical in the new growth that leeches out into the water, and promotes rooting in plants that are watered with it. It's also great for rooting fresh cuttings.

Yep, that's how it works, I mean... no, it's not a trick.

Thank you oh guru of plant cuttings! I mean that in the most serious sincere way possible. I want some orange raspberries some kind of bad. (Btw my child calls raspberries "hairy berries". I want to stop her so bad bc it sounds so gross but I can't give her a good reason so I just let it go.... parenting fail)
