Silkie having seizures would like some help and advice

The nearest vet is about an hour and a half away and cost $260 just to sit in the waiting room. Not even to be seen!!! Like Wow kind of extreme I thought, so no unfortunately vet is not an option. I have not lanced this but during the dressing change there are areas that bleed and obviously there is still thin yellow drainage that shows on the old dressing. Is this antibiotic available without a prescription?

Following along. I’m not sure what to suggest. But seeing the pic reminded me of once I forgot I had put a zip tie on the ankle of a bantam cochin. Forgot about it in all the leg feathers, and the skin started growing around it. I didn’t notice till he was limping so badly. I had to dig it out.

So is there any possibility that something got wrapped around her leg? String or anything?
Maybe an infected feather started it?

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!
I am not for letting an animal suffer at all. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain at all.

I absolutely believe it all started with an infected feather!

Chicken pus is hard not liquidy like.
I think it could be filed with pus or could be a tumor.

Baytril can be ordered online.

If it is pus it would better to dig it out so antibiotics can work.

I wish it gave more treatment options, and long term projections. But I think it’s some hope for improvement.
If you haven’t researched Mareks disease yet, I’d suggest you read some stuff on it also, to see if any of her other symptoms may correlate.
