OMG.... Congratulations on your first hatch babies!!!!!!! I'd be going crazy if I were stuck at work, you poor dear! BUT.....you have babies, you did fabulous with everything!! Let me know how they are when you get home. I am SO happy for you!!

12 hatched so far! 1 more pipped and the other 3 either haven't pipped yet, or they are pipped facing down.

Oh this is cuteness over the top!! I am so glad you are having such a great hatch! Hopefully the others hatch soon too. How egg-citing!! Fun colors too!!

Once they fluff, I'm super curious if you can tell what color they are. There are 10 from Pen 1 out that will be blue / black / splash, but I'm seeing light chicks with dark backs, maybe brown stripey backs.

15 chicks out, the brooder was pretty crowded, I'm not sure how 22 would have fit in there. Let alone 22 regular sized chicks!


It's Boxing Day! Lol.


Adjusting to the brooder, taking lots of naps, but they've also dove into trying to eat the feed I've sprinkled and I've gotten a couple to try a little mash. Some eat a bite, others peck at it and shake their heads and jump backward

Awww.....they are SO darn cute!! ❤ Look at the floofs and fuzzy feet....I am in love!! What a great hatch, glad they are all doing so well! Do you have weekends off from work? Hopefully you can spend some time with them. Thanks for including me in on this hatching adventure!
