Posted these in my own post but didn't get much response so thought I'd try here. I just got this silkie/cochin mix, fell in love with it immediately. Is it a hen or rooster? It's around a year old so I should know but I'm a newbie and have been fooled by Cochins before. Lol!! Thanks

If its about a year old then I would say pullet. I see no saddle or hackle feathers.

Here are my three silkies! We love them and my kids are dying to know if they are boys or girls! The blue one is smallest and friendliest. White is biggest. Here are some pictures.

@morganfarms5 as far as I can tell I think your blue is your only cockerel. Are they all the same age?

They are almost 4 months old.
I'm really hoping for females bc 1 of my white silkies is for sure a male (and he is 3 months old)
