I put my babies o the grass. It's good for them! As long as they are kept warm if they don't have a broody with them.I love that you have them on grass, aren't you worried about germs?
OK, it is a FEMALE. It squatted for me when I went to pick it up. talk about a late bloomer! LOL now I have no roosters, darn it!
actually, I have a younger one that I don't know the gender of either, but I'm pretty sure that one is a female too. apparently I only hatch out females. hmmmmm.
My vet can't stand chickens. Needless to say, not an avian vet.I actually really happy now because I was thinking it would be only for like small birds and stuff but I will definitely be paying them a visit in the future for a check up on my new hen that I got!
