One of my young paint silkies has a pendulous crop. I made her a sling to try to help support her crop, but she can't walk or even hold herself up in it. She freaks out and falls over. Anyone have ideas for treatment? Please help!

I put her on a 24 hour food fast and put on a supportive harness to hold her crop up. The crop completely drained after that. I'm keeping her in the harness and feeding her plain yogurt (for probiotics) and acv water. Thank you for the links.

Glad to hear that it is emptying.

Keep an eye out for smelly breath that would point to sour crop. I would think with pendulous crop she could easily develop that.

Keep us posted on how she is doing.
