Silkies really are evil, aren't they?

I have to admit, when my White Rock, Poof, went broody this past summer, I taunted her something awful.
I took the eggs from her every morning, pulled her off the nest, closed her out of the coop and everything else, it was just too darned hot for her to be sitting in a nest box full of hay in July brooding air.
I honestly got a huge kick out of taking her off the nest and carrying her outside because she griped the whole way and she walked around all puffed up complaining ALL DAY at anyone that would listen. None of the birds could get within 5 feet of her or she was snappin' and crankin'.
She was adorable.

She never once tried to bite me, either.

That's how my SF broody is. I get a big kick out of watching her when I take her off the nest each day so she can get a break. She'll kick anybodys butt that dares to get close; she even went after my 13 lb. rooster today. She squats low with her wings spread out and does this spinning thing. Reminds me of the Exorcist every time.

Yeah, like I need another hole in my head. What's most frustrating to me is that Keith thinks this whole broody mess is hilarious. Whenever I come in with another broody issue he just

After I had to deal with her, Jethro, today to get her stockpile of today's eggs out from under her, don't tempt me.
