Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

I got crappy ones from Ideal. I only kept 3 hens and upon close inspection the one is missing toes, and the lavender had huge pigment holes on her feet. All 3 aren't the best looking birds or a good representation of the breed.

My others are the offspring from breeders who show. Shipped eggs are awful but i did get a pair of really nice birds.

I read, I am being positive. I'm supporting your right to like them & have them in your flock.
 
I wish the broodiness would stop. I dont have a roo in with my girls currently, so none of their eggs are fertile. So I've been putting some cochin silkie cross eggs under them to see if they were fertile. 7 more eggs to go.

These chicks will be hard feathered or frizzled. And potentially sex linked also. Here's hoping for all girls!
