Rest in piece little white chickie on the right. Was completely squashed by its siblings...as flat as a pancake

It was still warm, I wish I was there just a few minutes sooner and it could have still been alive.

Guess it's no longer a growout chick, maybe I'll get another similar from my next white hatch.

I should learn my lesson when they say "never have favourites, they always die".

Here's a silly riddle for everybody:
If a silkie rooster on top of a barn door lays an egg, will the egg fall on the north or south side?

It won't fall anywhere, roosters don't lay eggs.

O my goodness, im so sorry. I just went outside, and I lost my silkie chick, and my only two blue laced red wyandotte chicks which are my favorite breed in the world.

It's sad but sometimes it happens and can't be helped. Are you able to get any more of those chicks?
