Silky Rooster Multiple Problems- HELP

Liquid food and water are going to be okay for his crop. Solid food could be a problem, especially since he won't be able to eat grit to help digest it. It's important to keep feeding him so his body can help fight these issues attacking it.

Canker often, not always, has a bacterial element to it. If you have the antibiotic, I suggest using it, even though you don't know for sure he's fighting bacteria along with the canker. It's just one more way to give him an advantage over the issues plaguing him.

Those bird meds are fine for chickens. We use fish antibiotics all the time, and often also use pigeon meds. Domestic chickens don't seem to rate their own labels on meds for some reason. Maybe because we eat them.

Keep any rocks away from him so he can get those rocks cleared out of his crop too. He might normally be a rock eater but if his crop turns slow and appetite turns low sometimes what’s left is just a bunch of rocks. The crop has to slowly work them out so he becomes more comfortable and food can fit through. He’s probably not eating because of a combo of the canker, rocks in crop, slow crop and slow GI. They are all interconnected. Feed him some soft digestible people food and see if he will eat it to keep his energy up. He will probably have enough rocks still left in his crop to help with digestion. You’ll know by feeling for the soft food to empty out of the crop and what comes out the other end and if there’s any food getting through the crop. Every bird has different tastes, but hard boiled or srambled egg, canned mackerel, canned cat food, tofu and cut up blueberries are my go to. If you get to the point where food is getting through him I’ve also found aspirin twice a day, or at least once in the morning, and vitamins direct dosed every few days helps with the appetite.
