Silver Laced Wyandotte 4.5 Weeks

So, I know it's too young to know for sure, but this is my first dotte. I was wondering if people who have raised more of them might have a better idea based on the feathering and pattern. So far the chick has a very slow growing tail and my last batch of chicks that I saw that in ended up being a roo
Unfortunately I don't have any other wyandotte chicks to compare to.

You might, but I think it is too early to tell for sure. Give it about 2 and a half more weeks.

I don't know. That's what my Wyandottes looked like at that age, and they all turned out to be hens. Give it a few more weeks.

Cool! I'm hoping she's a hen the feed store only orders sexed females, but I know there's chance of error. I hope she's a hen, I'm not allowed to keep roos

I vote pullet, mostly because my 7 week old Wyandotte looks just like this one and I want her to be a pullet!

She's doing well, definitely a pullet. She hasn't started laying yet but some of her sisters have

Not the best photos, but this is my silver laced wyandotte Curly, when he was a similar age. 5 weeks? And one of him as an adult. He had a straight comb, though, so it was easier to see. The whitening of the head and neck on yours does suggest roo to me, but not sure yet.
