I will tell you this---decaf has nothing on,
regular- fresh ground- fair trade- organic hot coffee, its been long 2 weeks

well, sadly enough,, my one cup, which I LOVED very much,, totally gave me the shakes and heart palpitations,,, So, I will next time I am at the market invest in Equal Exchange Organic whole bean decaf--- costco decaf doesn't cut it---no more regular coffee for me

all the dishes done and put away, all counter tops cleared,
up stairs - dusted [even the ceiling fan ], vacuumed
and down stairs, I dusted everything, washed the kitchen light cover thing, washed the whole fridge down. There isn't any carpet, I shook out all area rugs, and vacuumed and mopped the kit./bath/ living room, cleaned up my cleaning mess

You have more energy than I do.

I wouldn't be able to move if I had done all that.

Good morning/afternoon everyone!

Half way through my morning espresso and it feels like rain today. The humidity is hanging in the air. I got my first tomatoes of the season today!! I haven’t grown anything in years and since my property has really not been properly graded since i moved I planted a few veges in pots. Nothing too crazy, just some tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers.

I bought 3 acres several years ago and built my version of a modern farm house, which includes a big porch(hat tip to @GrandmaDeKorte), a side yard for the girls and a whole lot of space to do whatever my head thinks up and my abilities allow me to build…or let’s be honest, the guys that built the house will help My plan is to not plant anything until next year to get a good idea of light conditions, how the property lives, and where things like the garden should go naturally.

My dad has been visiting so that has been a real treat. He is 82 yo and is loving the peace and quiet…and the chickens of course. He has a daily conversation with them.

The mosquitos are proving to be a formable opponent so I will have to take measures into my own hands and make that problem go away.

But for right now, I will enjoy my second espresso, then off to my daily pot of tea and enjoy the day. Much to be done and hopefully before the rains come.
