I use cooked turkeys for the church, and I was always disappointed when a 20lb bird gave 10lbs of meatI put our turkey in the fridge yesterday (Saturday). It's huge (20 lbs!), way more than we need for Thanksgiving, but wow, will there be some great leftovers!
Meijers had its usual "39 cents a pound" special, and there weren't many left by the time I got there. I'm going to be making bone broth out of the carcass some time the week after, and freezing some jars of that for soups and cooking rice.
I'll be searching for turkey recipes...

I use most of the bones twice. When I can smash them with my fingers, they get mashed up and given to the chickens.
