That is white duct tape. I wanted to keep the rain/snow out, and the roof panels run the other way. I don't know how long the tape will last, but it seems to be doing well so far.
That is a good option. There is a tape for those panels but it is SSSOOOO expensive. I’m going to head to menards later to pick up some decorations and other items. They seem to have nice garland and I want to decorate the coop this season. 😊😘☃️

Do you regularly deworm your dogs?

I've looked at her stools, but never saw anything in it. The vet said that hookworm (? unless she said whipworm) was probably prevalent in the soil. Freya has her nose to the ground just about all the time, sniffing, and she can grab a bite of something before I even know it's there.

How do you know when to deworm them?
My dogs have only had Giardia, we had gone over to Idaho and they picked it up from the dog pee area, it was early spring and the ground was soaked from rain.
I only treat the dogs if: - they have diarrhea I cant cure, I then take in a poop sample to the vet. I dont use their RX, cuz it is a lot of money, I use safeguard. The vet does a regular yearly check up on the dogs and that includes a poop test. I dont deworm them unless the vet says to, it is to hard on their liver.

When we walk the dogs I keep an eye out for other dog poop and dont let my dogs sniff it. We dont go to dog parks or our city park. My dogs always would get mush poop after going, so we dont and they have done great. If an area is heavily use by other dogs, we stay away.

Will your vet do a fecal sample for you? I assume there is a charge, of course. How do they react when you say you're going to treat it yourself with Safeguard?

I think my vet might refuse to do a test if I said no thanks to their $$ and treated it myself. Don't know that, it's just a guess. I just looked at the bill: Fecal test (including giardia) was $61. The worming med was $40.

Does that sound outrageous, or average?
