No...not recent but from this year.

Oh good, what a winter the USA had--

They are soooo smart! My LH is a cuddle and loves to be held unless she’s busy bossing everyone around.

How Sweet! I don't hold my chickens, I have way too many to do that. They do flock around me and sit with me on the bench when I have time with them. I can hardly wait for that first white egg!

So 3 years ago this guy was in the tall pine above the coop--

( is is an old pic) I went over to do the dishes this morning and WOW-WOW this eagle fly's close to the house and man was it BIG!!

So , I meant to tell you-- can you see in this pic, how the tail feathers on the hens are fanned and standing up-- this is like the hair on a dog on alert that stands up-- The hens finally went out into the run around noon waiting for it to be safe
