Indeed. Mold is very dangerous and old feed is not feed

That article was heartbreaking. You do so much to keep the littles happy and healthy and something sneaks by during a seemingly normal occurance and changes things forever. Lesson is to always expect the unexpected and be grateful for the here and now. Thanks for sharing @GrandmaDeKorte10

The inside of the coop is all painted

So today I am going to (again) pull out the nesting boxes. I'll scrub them down and paint the box rack. Then run the sander over the roost rungs and I think the coop is good to go for the winter.

I love it. Camouflage for the chooks. You should paint little red combs all over it now.

All of the nesting boxes are scrubbed and the rack--So I will let them dry in the sun while I go in the house and make some stew

I like to scrub and sun dry as well. I think it helps to inhibit any mold that might be thinking of growing.

I had an old can of blue paint- so I painted the roosts and the rack

TA-DA, I cant believe I got it done. This was as bad as cleaning the oven.
