Thanks Bob, and I did start calling little roo---Mr. Bob, I need to come up with a rain gutter ?? something on the south side of the roof, and something over the door stoop area. I have used tarps in the past but they dont work very well.
I have a bit of concrete at the base on the south side but I may have to pour more. The hens LOVE to dig there.

I have gotten some papers for the muddy areas right where the coop roof sections end and it tends to get muddy. I know people will sometimes give away old bricks on Craigslist. Maybe just making a little patio would work?
 
Well, I hope all of the new feathers have come in and we are done with "Feather Season". They are all over the place. the new chickens are 16 weeks old. they could start laying anytime.

My first one just started molting. I hate that they do it so close to the cold weather. If we get an early cold snap they can really suffer. I'm glad your's are almost done. The super whiteness of the new feathers always made me smile.
