Happy Monday
Boy did we have a wind storm yesterday and all night. It was reported the wind up on Mt. Rainer was 123mph.
But all is well in

Would you say Leghorn roosters tend to be agressive? I'm thinking of getting some blue leghorn eggs to hatch. Was just wondering..

All chickens have their own personalities. You could always get a bad one or you could get a cuddle buddy out of it. You just never know. I will say that personality wise it is hard to beat a leghorn. I just love them. Mine were all smart wonderful ladies.

I got an assortment of chicks and the leghorn is the only one that will let me pet her!
The same here. She thinks is a parrot and flies up to my shoulder every time. 20210331_171241.jpg

WOW! WOW! WOW! The first time in 60 yrs that I see bathing a chicken. I am sorry but I had to let you know it is my first time.
Hahahahah, The hen I currently have have not needed a bath the year I have had them. The others had poopie back end so much that they got a bath. Also, if some hens have mites Dawn dish soap will kill them and not hurt the hen. I haven had a problem with mites, just mush poop. But like I said, this flock I have, 4 that are just shy of one year and one 2 year old (who has had a bath) have not had issues.
I found too, sometimes just a nice rinse under warm water is good and the hens actually like the warm water.
