Yesterday was the first time I saw frost on the grass. Today I saw snowflakes in the air.

The pullet I think is closest to laying peeked into the nest box this morning. Then she sat in it for a moment, then popped back out. Come on, Stormy! You can do it!

I hope she lays soon for you. I'm sorry that the snow is starting to fly already.

The snow is inevitable. Sigh. It's ok. For the most part, I don't have to drive in it. Once every other week to the chiro; DH has said he'll take me to the store when the roads get nasty.

Hopefully, the eggs are inevitable too!
