We recently switched to grain free. Today I pulled all of her treats that are not grain free; she won't get those anymore.

I think she ate something on the ground. Deer poop, neighbor's chicken poop, raccoon poop, opossum, skunk. All are possibilities. Today she's getting pumpkin and white rice. That has fixed the problem before. Good thing she likes it.

I cannot stress how important what one feeds their flock is.
I highly recommend feeding only a pelleted or crumble age appropriate commercially made poultry feed.
I can guarantee you are not doing any favors for your bird's health by feeding it pumpkin and rice.

Oh, she eats just fine. I think she ate something she found on the ground. It's happened before. That's what the pumpkin and rice are for: it gets her back to passing solid poops.
How long ago did you switch her food to the grain-free stuff?

About a week or so. Then today it dawned on me to check her treats. 🤦‍♀️ She won't be getting most of those anymore either.

Our second Doberman was allergic to air, it seemed. Special food, shots, the whole bit. I'm going to see if getting rid of the treats changes anything in another week. If not, then it's a trip to the vet for allergy testing.

She doesn't get a lot of treats. Usually one when DH leaves for work, and one to take to her bed just before we eat a meal. That one is a pork hide twist.
