I read one of those 'good food' 'bad food' lists for chicken caretakers... It had the usual things on it, but this one had rhubarb on the list of 'don't' ...

When I first got my chickens I had a mound 3 feet high, about 6' x 6' of beautiful soil in which I had many plants of rhubarb all lovingly tended for many years ... You know what they did to it, don't you? Yeah, so much so that you can't even see where the soil was once raised above the surrounding soil. They even killed the mound!

I don't know if rhubarb is bad for chickens, but I know chickens are bad for rhubarb... :hmm

We're getting together with a couple of former coworkers at a restaurant/tavern this afternoon. We're all retired, so we can get there at 4pm and beat the dinner crowd. We've done this several times, at various places. 3 ol' geezers and an ol' geezette. :lau

We tip well. Wait staff tend to like us.
It’s good to keep in touch. A couple guys from DHs work came over yesterday to pick up the gantry crane DH sold them. Since being retired then the pandemic I was almost shocked at how much we enjoyed the company of someone else!
