Hahaha! This is how I feel! We are iced in and I woke up to my young cockrel at the doorstep waiting for snacks. He's never escaped before lol time for a lid on the brooder! He was rewarded for his naughty efforts with some country fried steak haha!

The coffeeand the stove are good this morning. A few weeks ago when the first really cold spell hit this winter I went outside and it was too cold for my truck to start. The first time in 10 years. You see I drive an F-250 diesel. I started looking for some kind of block heater. In my research it seemed that block heaters might be a standard item on these trucks. I gave my 20 year old grandson some guidance and he agreed to look for a block heater. Pretty quickly he came back and said yes there is one on there. The electrical plug is tied to the tow hook right behind the bumper. He said I can't believe we never found it and I said we never needed it. I said it didn't it didn't take long to find it and he said only 10 years. I guess that is the benefit of living in the Deep South.

I have seen airplanes start taxiing still plugged into the power cable. That is bad it usually does some damage.
