@perchie.girl of COURSE you can put eggnog in your coffee! And in any baked goods..... haven't tried it with cereal.....me, I just want to guzzle it all day long. -sigh-

from the San Diego High desert....

Gosh I havent had the opportunity to delve into Coffee Conniseur stuff. But the more people talk about it the more I learn and one day I will maybe go to a coffee tasting.... I am sure they have them around here.

I have met a fellow BYC'r that is part of the Southern California meetup groups.... and he roasts his own coffee. Hes a retired Chef and does it for a little bit of side money.... I have had some of his coffee and it was tasty.

Oooh how about in french toast..... whip a little with the eggs and add in a little more spice.... OH yummmy..


I just bought some sour dough bread for french toast.... I need to make some for dinner tomorrow. (I dont cook breakfast... um er I only cook breakfast for dinner)

When my husband and I were first married, we did the Gevalia coffee club. It was fantastic, but they stared sending it closer and closer together and soon I was freezing it and building sheds out back with the 4 blocks of coffee that came every week... The twice a week... along with the bill.

Then we moved to Melita, and as poverty over took us stupid farmers,,, Maxwell house. and I am happy for it. It is hot, dark and has caffeine. The main requirements.

although, now that it has been mentioned I might be a tad wistful of a good cup of coffee.

...with eggnog in it!! No, I am an eggnog purist, straight up hold the alcohol.
I am with Alaskan. I could drink it non stop except for the calories.
