Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Sheesh! Looks like I will be sitting on this spot of chocolate all day!

Turns out that I messed up in shopping....I was supposed to buy a turkey breast, and I bought something that turns out to be a hunk of smashed together turkey meat.

Spouse is having to read through cookbooks, trying to figure out what the spouse wants to do with this meat.

Arg!

Luckily the boys are doing the majority of the slaughtering.... The time I ran out to help them, I covered the chocolate spot with my blanket.

You're really entertaining me and DD.

Smashed together turkey...IDK.
We're making Baja Fish Tacos for dinner. Turkey tacos???

I have some serious old chicken attrition, so I should just get to get some new ones in a year or so.
I was supposed to get a broodie, but I think the hoodoo-voodoo stuff did not work this year.
sours' GPS missed me. Were they supposed to wear the tinfoil hats or me?

I was going to buy eggs and slip them under a hen. Let her do the work.

Oh well. I have too many vermin for babies right now anyway.

Varmints.

And spouse is now in a giant funk...... AND cooking, so no hope of having the couch all to myself. The couch will have a great deal of time to soak up the chocolaty goodness before I can try to clean it.

Stupid spouse, all grumpy because things are not perfect.

If its leather chocolate has oil in it.... Clean it with Simple green.... or Dawn dish detergent..... Then use saddle soap to clean the detergent off....

Saddle soap has lanolyin in it....

Its still going to be stained but at least it wont smell like chocolate.... when she asks.... "what was that" you can deny the whole thing....

Oh and I am making Chile Rellano Casserole.... layer of onions drizzle of corn oil drizzle of whipped eggs layer of Chiles layer of pre shreded mexican cheese drizzle of green enchalada sauce drizzle of more whipped eggs layer of chiles layer of cheese drizzle of sauce and the rest of the eggs....

12 eggs whipped with buttermilk salt and pepper and two tablespoons of flour.....

Oh and the recipe came from my head so I havent a clue as to what its going to taste like... I have it at 350 degrees and its cooked now for 30 minutes.... still bubbly so I set the timerfor another fifteen minutes. When I am done another layer of cheese will go on top.

I also have flour tortillas to crisp up before serving.... cut into wedges Crisp in oil salt and pepper garlic and chile.... tastes like doretos ... Kinda

Flour tortillas make great chips.

Or I may just heat them up and offer them like bread.... Who knows how I will feel after I am ready to eat.
