"Where's the pretzel????"
"But I don't know anything about Gollum!"
"They're coming!"
I have carried on conversations in my sleep with my sister, also in her sleep.
One time while I was on a retreat I sleep walked. The cabins we were staying in had two sections of about ten bunk beds, divided by a hallway. After dreaming that i had a rehearsal of some sort (???) on one side, I "woke up" and thought "oh, I have to go back to my own bed now." I tried to step off the bed promptly fell off the top bunk onto the tile floor. I hobbled across the cabin to what I thought was my bunk and climbed up. Much to the surprise of my confused mind, there was someone else in my bed! It was another girl from my youth group, and she was in my bed!!! I pushed and tried to get her out, but she just smiled and rolled over. Not wanting to disturb her, i curled up at the end of the bed and tried to get some sleep. After a while, I wanted to see what time it was, so i leaned over to look at the clock which i knew was on the table next to me. The clock was gone. Not only that, but the table too! And there were strange people in all the beds! Where were my friends?
*lightbulb*
I'm in the wrong side of the cabin! Relieved, and suddenly exhausted, i walked back over to the other side and crawled into my vacant bed. Story's over, right? Nope. Next morning, I hear voices coming from the other side of the cabin. "Hey, I think there was a guy in my bed last night!" I sheepishly walked over. "ummm, jessie, that was me..." THe reason she thought it was a boy is because I brought my friends sweatpants embroidered with a all-boys highschool's emblem and left them in her bed!
I'll never live that one down. But I have several other incidents. I talk in my sleep almost every night.
