Small egg in yard???

It is about 2 1/3 inches long, and 1 1/2 inches across.

No I think the only ones in washington are sea turtles, or maybe in eastern wa idk.

Seems like you guys have a lot of turtles there. Here's a list of all of the reptiles and amphibians you guys have.

Can you candle it? Look for any cracks, maybe that will give us an idea?

Could have been dug up and stopped in your yard by a predator or bird.

I candled it earlier to see if it had a yolk, and it did. Didn't see any cracks in the shell

No, most aren't. I've seen a lot of painted turtle eggs before and they feel just like a tiny chicken egg, but a bit smoother.

Neither do I. Painted turtles often travel miles to lay their eggs. They especially like gravel areas but they frequently lay in yards.
