Yeah snakes are edible but they dont taste like eel. Eel is a fish and the unagi you are eating at the sushi bar is a fresh water eel, a river fish.

I seen a lot of 'graphic' posts on BYC but nothing like this. I think I'm going to die! If I ever have a snake problem I'm sending you a plane ticket....YUCKYUCKYUCK

It took 2 days to catch those. Yes there still all alive. As far as disposing of them. I prefer a 12 gauge. snakes carry salmonella because they crawl threw there poo.So I don't think I'd eat one,but the crows love E'm.

The basic idea behind it is to twist the inside layers, with a loosely fitting cylinder shaped piece on the outside. Peg it tight to the ground about every 2 foot. You can make smaller sections, for easier snake removal.

Chickens, and chicken eggs also can carry salmonella, but its destroy when cook. so it would be ok to eat if cooked.

Nice trap!!!

If you like the barn snakes around for rodent control, but don't like the egg eating ones-----try this.

Puncture an egg and blow out the innards. (stick in a broomstraw and whisk, then a straw and blow out the liquid). Fill the inside with plain old salt, tape the hole and replace the loaded egg back in the nest(s). Any snake that eats a salt filled egg will be eating its last meal.
