Snake Trap,Requested Post,Not 4 faint hearted

I ate Rattler in Texas last year. It was almost pure bones but it did taste a bit like flavored chicken

Can you post a pisture or the trap, minus snakes? I agree, i'm still not getting it...

Does it go all the way around the coop, with a twisted inside layer? Or is it standing up, like a barrel? Or neither...

Sorry ii am slow today!

Well I'm slow too and durn it I'm edumacted! I need a visual of it on the ground around coop if you could? I'm having a rattlesnake issue at the moment and I'm willing to bed I'd catch a few in that. The don't bother the chickens, they are hiding in my garden!!!!

I discovered this same trap, quite by accident. I'd cut the bird netting from the top of my run, because I was moving it, and threw it on the ground. I'm usually neater than that, but had to get the fencing for the run moved and back up in one day. The old coop was still there, and one of my mallards decided to nest in it. Eggs were disappearing, so I knew a snake was calling, but couldn't catch it in the act. Then I started smelling that god-awful "dead" smell. Looked out back and there were two rat snakes, dead, tangled in the netting. And one of them had two large lumps about midway down!
