As for colors @learycow or @Nyla knows colors more than I.

I started out with Muscovy because I met 3 drakes in our Mt River down below us decided to adopt them and went and got female Muscovies to go with them Not having any idea I was in for some heart ache. Drakes began fighting and one killed another which left 2 the girls chose one of the drakes for their knight in shining armor which left the one alone he went down to the river and never came back that was in June of 2004 and not until 2016 did I add Runners and Buffs to our flock. A friend on here sent me eggs and my Muscovies brooded them. So now I have 5 Runners and 2 Buffs 1 Runner drake all the rest are female. My Muscovy drake pays them no mind doesn't even give those girls a second look but the Runner drake always goes after the Muscovy females. So if your Muscovy females lay and brood if you have a mix of scovy and Rouen the ducklings she hatches will be sterile. Now I don't see that as a bad thing just means one way of keeping the population in check.
I am glad your female came home that is the biggest way people lose their Muscovys flying away second is predation.

I have 1 blk and white female 2 blue with white heads and 1 blue fawn. and my drake is black a white and you can go here and see some pics

Do you have more muscovies now?

I have only 5 Muscovies now I've had as many as 15 but most have died of old age. The ones I have now are between 6-10 yrs old. 1 drake to 4 females
I thought you might be overrun with them as easy as they can multiply. Do you not let them hatch their eggs? That is my plan for now. ;)

Btw...i couldn’t see pics of your ducks...it wouldn’t allow me to.

Bill my drake M just tries to get away. Even if Doc the rouen drake is mating with a muscovy female Bill just watches. For such a big tough looking guy he sure is the wimpiest.

I will search for Mule ducks. Still trying to figure out how to use this website well

I practice birth control with my scovies or I'd be over run. I love those lil ducklings but I also have Runners and Buffs so 12 ducks 2 geese and 28 chickens is enough for now. lol

What is the birth control method you use?? Lol

Probably snatches the eggs from the nests as quickly as they are laid. ;)
Figured as much. I feel terrible taking their eggs:)
Yep I have 2 Muscovy females broody right now on nothing I always feel bad for taking their eggs but has to be done. lol
Thankfully My Runners and Buffs could care less.
Ohhh so sad. Poor girls.
We have a bunch of eggs but no one is sitting on them. How long should i leave them before taking them away?
