So I started a (small) worm farm...

Interesting... I considered a meal worm farm, but I’m concerned about escaping beetles making it a nightmare. What are superworms?
The beetles can't get out.....they are flightless and as long as the sides are smooth, unable to scale walls. I have multiple bins that are all uncovered, zero escapes

Black soldier flies are very easy to grow. Just put holes in the bottom of a 5gallon bucket with a lid on. A lot of holes but not to many. Then hang it in the middle of your run or set it on a cement block. Put a little bit of dirt in the bottom(1/2" most) then place your table scraps with some leaves in there or fresh cut grass and the flies will go in the holes stay in the bucket lay eggs and die. The larvae will then burrow in the dirt and out of the holes onto the ground feeding your birds fresh larvae. I also have a compost tumbler filled with scraps leaves and whatnots. I have enough to feed my chickens and ducks x2 daily for the last 3months. All I have done is dinner scraps and grass clippings. They just keep growing.
