some confirmation on breed/gender

Due to everyone's posts and suggestions I forwarded pictures of the birds to the breeder.... lets see what she has to say!

well I can't wait to see the response either... she did manage to throw in there that maybe I bought other birds at the same time... I didn't and everyone elses breed is accounted for (different breeders)... they are very cute birds though, just not what I ordered!

Just read the whole thread, very interesting! I too would have contacted the breeder! Good job!! She probably does this and nobody ever says anything to her about it so she gets away with it...I am eager to see her response!

I agree, its not like I was planning on breeding them but at $5. a chick I wanted what I asked for... she wanted to buy one of my breeding pairs of egyptian fayoumis... I can't imagine what they would have turned out like! Fayilkies, cochoumis... fayaucana's

haha!! Probably a good idea you didnt sell them to her! And at $5 a chick you should definitely get what you paid for!! I went to the feed store here in San Diego last week and got some silkies, a cochin , a gold laced wyandotte, 2 silver laced wyandottes and 1 ameraucana (all pullets except the silkies) and I paid $3.49 each. When you are charging more the a feed store and claim to be a "breeder" you should know your stuff!
