Someone has listed my house for sale......???

Maybe stop by the police station, and tell them that you need their input, but didn't want to call them "all the way out" to your house, since it was not a life-threatening emergency.

The get their input & file a report if possible!!!

Just thinking that this may work if you are worried about staying on "good side".... Not that you need to do it this way- you have every right to call them out... Just offering a "diplomatic" option...

They are a piece of work, I can tell you that. I am just shocked that there are private agencies out there that still foster kids when they have been black-listed by the state.

They were very excited to get a non-verbal one.

I thought they were hanging around outside the house frequently? did I misinterpret? If I did, I apologize
this is what I thought would be enough of a reason

Interesting...so the listing is removed by the Oklahoma fsbo.com but it is still on Craigslist. I am wondering if it is time to contact the people we bought the house from. I do not want to speak to them, and am not sure I can do so, civilly.

I do think they are behind it, because why else would they have been parking outside our house the past 2 weeks? We thought they were planning on coming back and taking some things off the house, but maybe they were just doing this??

I guess that was my point... she suspects them because they've been hanging around, but without videos or photos it's her word against theirs. Like you said about someone trying to run down your kid. (BTW...

how horrible!!) Document, document, document, and cover your butt, Shelley...

I hope you get the help you need so you can put this whole thing to rest.

I was going to make the same suggestion that Cynthia made. Put a sign out front stating clearly "Fraudulant Craigslist Ad--This house is NOT for sale". Except, add "NO Trespassing" to it. Then, post your own listing on Craigslist making the same statement.

Here, sometimes if there isn't a "no trespassing" sign posted in an obvious location on the property, the trespassers get away with, "Oh, I didn't realize this is private property". It's happened to us with people entering our property to swim in the river adjacent to us. (We've even had people cross our property, walking right by our home, our shop, our cars, everything and claim they had no idea it was private property.)

And, whatever you do, DO NOT contact these people. They could easily twist anything you say to make it appear as though you threatened them somehow. Any contact with them should be made via the law, attorney, police department, etc.

Lastly, good luck to you. Stay safe.

first they issue a temporary, which is easy to get, just say you are afraid and being stalked. Getting the permanant was easy for our neighbor without proof

now getting them to prosecute a violation is a LOT harder....
that is where the proof comes in I spoke of....
