Hi everyone! Does anyone know if tractor supply in travelers rest has silkie chicks? And if so, are they labeled as such? Also, is there a minimum you must buy? Thank you!
If you can't find any there you like I have a few for sale. They are not tiny. They were raised in the flock and have been out in the pen and free ranging some. They are about 6 weeks old now. Black, blue partridge and partridge. I am not sure of gender but I think at least 2 are girls. I may have some others, too but can't remember even though I am down to only 4 brooders now.

I have a few Light Sussex chicks and Silver Sussex chicks if anyone is interested...$5 each. These will be a very large calm good laying bird with large/X-large eggs when mature. I am near Ware Shoals, SC.

My husband gave me the best Valentine's gift ever...the cash to buy a Brinsea incubator! On the recommendation of another BYCer, I called and asked if they had any discounted 'scratch and dent' sales and they did!

Now all I need are some fertile practice eggs...I only have hens. And though my guineas were laying 3 weeks ago, they have stopped. Guess I gotta ask around the chicken folks at work. Good thing I live in the country where tons of people have chickens!
