My pal, Terri, will have lots of chicks from my birds there. Not exactly sure what she will be bringing yet ; )What are you planning to take ???? How are your Ameraucanas doing??There will also be a chicken swap / sale at Tractor Supply on Bobby Jones in Augusta, GA on June 28th : ) For more info, check here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HobbyFarmersOfTheCSRA/
I have two free range hens who had been broody for six weeks with no eggs under them. I put them in a pen with no nest box, and they are doing fine. I am wondering how long I need to keep them penned up before I can let them go again? Any other suggestions on breaking them from being broody??
I've had them put up for 8 days now, so maybe they'll be ok. Thanks!I've heard three days, but thankfully have not had to deal with that yet
They all have 4 toes, not sure about the skin. I thought the light ones might be Faverolle's, but don't have enough toes!W
What color skin do the ones w/ feathered legs have & how many toes do they have ?
