Yup! I had my big boots out this afternoon. One pair of tinny shoes is already soaked so I just went to the boots. I hate wearing them though since I usually wind up stepping on somebody. I can't feel anything in them because they are that thick rubber.
There were a lot of eggs that did not get collected today since it was pouring rain and they were dry and snug in the nests. I hope to collect in the morning. Surely all this rain will be gone by then.......right?

And Robin, you know I do not mind putting my 2 cents in.

Yay for you! Way to go DH!!! I feed early in the morn before I go to work so I missed the rain...was just sprinkling. I feed in the mornings and collect eggs and check waterers in the evening...never get to spend quality time until the week-ends! Mine don't get to roam because no one is here...gee I hope they are happy here...they seem to be

I found that PetSmart and PetCo have aviary antibiotics in individual sized doses. The brand is "Mardel" and the med is "Ornacycline" or "Ornacyn Plus". It is great for treating infectous bacterial diseases.
