Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Those are beautiful quilts. In addition to my recent chicken hobby, I started quilting a couple of years ago and really enjoy it. I'm still in the learning stage so I hope someday my quilts look as beautiful as yours. Eileen
Sorry I missed you, Eileen.

Thanks!

My husband's entire extended family has stayed at OB3 for the past 40 years or so. We rented a bungalow for the week. It was sooo nice. Water was incredible. Calm, clear and warm with no jellyfish. My husband and I were able to swim everyday for some really great open water swims. Usually I'm a bit scared swimming in the ocean. Always afraid I'll get caught in a crazy rip current or something stupid like being bitten or attacked by a shark but the water was so clear, at least I could see if something was coming at me. LOL!

I will miss it! Maggie has a small board she got for Christmas this past year but the long board was waaay easier as you know. Wish I was younger or in better shape at least so I could learn too! So many good looking young dudes!

Pure eye candy.
Oh yea...........eye candy for sure! I've been nostalgic since I saw your post looking old friends names from back then.LOL

I spent my younger years living on the beaches from Pt. Pleasant to Asbury Park and watched Bruce Sp. grow into what he is now. My high school teachers were bartenders at the stone pony before I was of age and I got in long before I should have. Those were the days!!

Sounds like you had waaay too much fun! I love Point Pleasant - great town. The ocean is nice in OB3 but that's about it. Of course, the kids love it.

Just had the most delicious nap! Midday siesta to beat the heat.

I washed the patio furniture before so I earned it. No really!!

Gonna BBQ a whole free-range chicken for dinner. I TOLD Agatha to keep it down... (Just kidding)

Yes I sure did.LOL Point Pleasant is a nice town. My sister stayed there and is on the canal off Arnold Ave. I love browsing the shops. It has kept it's charm all these years. Jenkensin's beach was great bringing the kids to when young. Still is.
Now my son is all grown up and goes to Jenk's with his friends sometimes to party. Some things never change.

Can I just say here how much I love you guys? What a great bunch you all are!

Thanks for all the kind words and support - not just now but always. I think it's so funny that a lot of us haven't met but we can all offer support and help and kind thoughts to each other.

I'm feeling much better. I bought shoes at Marshall's, a shirt at TJMaxx and a whole bunch of stuff for the new screen gazebo at Home Goods. Retail therapy.

RIP to my bbq chicken. The propane ran out and the flies got to the semi-cooked carcass. Not a pretty sight. Had a great salad at the diner, though!

We love you too.

Sorry I don't let people know it as often as I should. Stress, anyone?

You do in so many other ways besides just words, CFG.

How's Lloyd feeling? And how's your poison ivy?

I'm off to "work" for 3 hours. Then possibly dinner with my sister and her lump of a boyfriend. Or the wake. Same difference.
