We agreed that we like the Flea Market better than the Yard Sale. Although we did get what we went for - a small chest for my little room. I need drawers for all my yarn.

And I resisted buying bamboo cotton blend yarn at $15 for 10 balls, even though that's a good price. Because there were 40 balls and I couldn't spend $60, nor could I leave some behind. What if I didn't have enough? For the project I don't even know I'd use it for. So I didn't get it. No room for it anyway.

I did get something I DIDN'T want: a bee sting on the inside of my lower lip. I had gotten funnel cake (my first mistake) and had finished it. I put my finger to my lips to lick off some sugar and I guess there was a bee there (on my finger or my lip, I don't know). OWWW! It still hurts. Fortunately, I'm not allergic (Bobby is), so there's just some minor swelling and a lot of pain. We were on our way out when it happened.

An ice pop helped!

And I can't believe how much quieter the girls were this morning. Bobby thinks the word is out that I'll ship out anyone who makes too much noise...

WhileGarage saling today I got a chicken carrier(cat) for $2. And an incredible filet crocheted spread for $1 . Could not keep my poker face in check when she said "one dollar" only has one or two tiny ,tiny spots that will come out.
Heading to an antique show in NJ tomorrow then to the Lambertville flea market. I can't wait.

Lambertville flea market? I need more info!

I spent 3 hours cleaning up my little room and "moving into" the secretary we bought. It's perfect! Looks great and I managed to fill 2 drawers with yarn. A lot more went into the closet, ninja-style, and I'm even returning some to Michaels. What was I thinking??

I am soooo exhausted. And my lip still hurts, if you can believe such nonsense.

Owie, Owie, Owie! A bee-stung lip should be against the law! How awful! Take a close look , ( maybe with a magnifying glass) and make sure that there is no stinger still in your lip.

I got stung on my butt three weeks ago( the little bugger walked up my leg inside my long slacks), and Gene had to dislodge the stinger with his fingernails.

Feel better.

Better and better every day. Ten minute walks thru the house every two hours and ten DEEP breaths to follow are helping the healing. Lots of naps. Managed to fold a very little pile of laundry, and went thru the week's accumulation of piled up maile. Most of it junk.

Back in bed now for some more tv. Then g'night time.
