Happy Easter...girls are singing their Easter song for the entire neighborhood this morning..
Got up super early to go to Sayville to the bakery and of course nothing is ever straightforward for me. Line out the door and ten minutes into the wait an elderly man (84) ahead of me decides to pass out.why is it that unless you look straight at a person ,point your finger at them and give them a command they won't do anything. Suzanne maybe your daughter will know the answer to that. I did not yell but had to raise my voice to get anyone to do what I told them to do.i got pretty scared, he was breathing but for the life of me I couldn't get a pulse. Hadnt taken his blood pressure meds. Didn't want to go with the ambulance,wanted to drive home. I was having none of that. Talked to his wife told her he was heading to south side. Hopefully everything works out for him

What an easter morning kind of story! Jeez! Thank god you were there carol. I am hiding out in the hotel room, packing up while the whole family is at church. I love my SIL but after five days I'm ready to go home. We got to see the baby polar bear Luna at the buffalo zoo yesterday - so cute!

I'm going to to try to get some of these little hunnies to pose with my namesake (Hyacinth flowers) in a little while.

And what's with New Yorkers and krullers? We had the same thing down South but called them coffee sticks. I had to run out this morning to get them for my Father-in-Law.

you couldn't get a pulse because you were too nervous. Just keep the airway open and point directly at one of your most awake on lookers and demand to CALL 911, it will happen. don't even try a pulse. when they are too old it could be they have one that is working just fine, its just very shallow. look for reactive behavior.

Did all those things ..it's that this group wanted their baked good and get home. Other wanted to give him a big glass of water.gotta love it. When I was at Cornell I always said that if I ever passed out just drag me over to the large animal clinic and let them do their thing.hopefully everything worked out for Fred.
