Hi everybody,
I'm back after a two week vacation with my hubby. I tried to read this thread on my iPhone and iPad as much as possible while we were away, just to keep up with all the posts! I couldn't view the video of Caleb's sister, but her pictures are just adorable.

There were too many posts for me to comment on, but I do have to congratulate Carolyn on 52 years of marriage. Wow!!! Phil and I celebrated our 32nd on Sunday and we've been together 37 years. (it's a miracle... just kidding).

I have to say this thread is just too funny! Can't tell you how many times I laughed out loud reading your posts and had my hubby wondering what was so hysterical -- tents blowing away, a certain person running outside with what sounded like nothing on but sneakers (what an image!), chickens snoring and passing gas etc.

I love the fact that we have different ages and generations on this thread all sharing a common interest in a caring manner and with a sense of humor. I also welcome the folks who are new to this thread and hope they come back to visit.

Oh! On Sunday, my patient hubby made an out-of-the-way stop in Pennsylvania on our way home from Virginia. As in, it actually added about 2 hours to our trip. We met up with a breeder in Pottstown,PA and I was able to buy 3 silkie chicks from a pure black breeding. What a good guy to put up with those extra hours just for some baby chicks! They are adorable babies and I can't wait to do a photo shoot to post pics.

We don't have an incubator yet or I would be happy to help. You are only about an hour from me.
