I'd love to get him tools, but he's got his own carpentry business on the side, and has anything and everything he could ever want. the man takes out 15 power tools and a laser level to hang a picture.

I love the guy, but he doesn't get that working with kids is like being pelted with small rocks all day long. When I get home, I don't want to discuss the economy or the problem with schools, or explain what a torrent is, or repeat something five times because he doesn't hear me, or decide on the next project or pretty much ANYTHING.

I'm having a hard time today. Can you tell? Just want to crawl in a hole and stay there...

I am in Rockland County. I just got my first 6 chicks - Rhode Island Reds.

It is good to see there are other "chicken people" nearby!

Welcome ; Good luck with your chicks. We're here to help be it spouses,kids, gardens,gift selection etc... and everything chicken. One thing I can tell you is 6 turns into 16 very fast . Its like Star Treks "Trouble with Tribbles". Four weeks ago I had 5 today I have 21.We can also come up with really good ideas as to where they came from or how you acquired them. welcome
