Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

I sent you a PM.I just saw magic mike and it was not quite what I expected. Depending on your daughters age, you may want to read some reviews. In the "old days" this probably would have been xrated.
:/
Just wanted to let you know so you can make your own decision.

And btw, I'm not an old cranky fart...I simply LOVE Matthew M.... I was just taken aback at some of the scenes....Tina

All things at Williams Sonoma can be found at Marshalls/TJMaxx..... I have gotten All Clad pans, Le Creuset dutch ovens, even a Shun chefs knife from TjMaxx all at discounted prices. I like getting the Williams Sonoma catalog, but never buy from it.
ANYWAYS, I am looking for a pygmy goat doe.... PM me if you 'know a guy'.
love tjmax. Marshalls and berlington coat factory too. Great buys! Of course Home Goods rocks my world too.

OK so my son and husband came home with an iPad for me yesterday. It is a lot of fun.I have never had a new computer, always someone's hand me down.
Everyone please stay hydrated.
I wish I was going camping. I'm going up to visit with my family tomorrow .Going to have a BBQ at a lake on West Point property. Don't know if my 86 year old mom should be sitting out in this weather but she is insisting .
Sunday they all want to go into NYC. again in a heat wave I don't think so. Me trying to keep 8 adults and 6 kids rounded up. No way.
I've sat on that lake and had lunch while visiting West Point grounds/museum once. Very nice. Small town had a little carnival happening at the time and we really enjoyed ourselves. I could easily live up along there if hubby didn't work for the city.

Oh, you're in Long Island? I went to a huge pigeon auction/sale in Staten Island last month...... where on Long Island? If you aren't out in Suffolk County, than The Staten Island Auction wouldn't be too far. I could meet you there if you want and show you around, seeing as how I get on the train for free...... just a thought. Oh the goat has a baby with it! awwwwwwww I want it! I am trying to sell some of my pigeons, if you are interested. thanks for showing me the post.
Yeah-I'm in Suffolk, right by Regina (Stoopid) Staten Island is like the other side of the world it seems.

I'd love to go to the Pigeon sale/auction. My husband works in the Bronx, which is closer to upstate than anything, let me ask him about building a house for pigeons first, then if we do decide on pigeons, I could get them from you! What kind are you looking to sell? I know they need a good house, do you keep your in a coop?

You're very welcome for the goat listing! I'm always checking out goats since my daughter and I dream of having a couple of goats, but my husband doesn't like their EYES!! (he's a little weird) so we're still working on that.

There's a family up the road that has a few goats and some sheep, but they're his babies, and he never breeds or sells anything but tomatoes.

I have plenty of tomatoes....

Hi all. Home from the wedding. It was soo nice. They did so much work in the backyard - part of the services was about how it was a reflection of the work that had gone into their relationship. My aunt came down from Maine to surprise my cousin. Bobby said I spoke too fast while doing the service. Nerves, I guess. Now I feel like I didn't do a good job. Me being a perfectionist. But it was a beautiful day and we had a really nice dinner at a beachfront restaurant afterwards. My cousin and her new husband seemed very happy and in love. I really like Mark. And he wants to get chickens! He was born in Virginia and they had chickens growing up. His brother was telling me all kinds of stories. He also wants to get chickens on his farm upstate.

It was a nice day, but I'm beat. And not feeling too well. Sort of weak and shaky. I've been keeping hydrated, so I know it's not that. Low blood sugar maybe.

Nothing on the agenda for tomorrow other than cleaning up the packing from the screen gazebo we put up this morning. Then perhaps I'll sit in it!

I have a pigeon guy here... I was quite interested until I found out what a runt was.
Very confusing.
He lives in Hicksville, and owns a feed store in Deer Park.
Everyone stay cool. I went out to Riverhead to pick up feed, and it was like insanity out there.
I went out today, so I didn't have to deal with the weekend tourists.
Stopped at the farm stand and picked up some corn....

And just when you think this GMO crap is safe to eat....

OOH, Twins! So I go to peel some more and LOOKIT....

Triplets!! How cool is that?
