Hello from Long Island, NY! Sorry, I know this thread isn't a recent one. I'm close to my neighbors here in the 'burbs. No chickens yet, but our coop is being delivered soon. It has nestboxes for 3 standard hens, but we may get only 1 and 2 bantams to keep her company, perhaps. Availability of finding perhaps a Golden Comet nearby won't be hard, but maybe finding an Americauna-type/Easter Egger bantam might be a challenge out here. Who knows what we'll end up with.Right now, I'm researching and learning lots! Thanks for such a great forum here.
