Best of luck with everything Tina! Our chickens are going in and out of the coop into their run...still laying eggs though. I will lock them up later on, when we get ready to bunker down.
Unfortunately, our trusty, reliable generator has decided not to work! My husband spent hours last night trying to fix it with no luck. This now affects all my plans. I was going to bring my daughter, sister and one of their personal care aides to stay at my house. Now, the three of them may have stay in my sisters apartment while my hubby and I stay at my house (to watch over all the animals).
This is really making me uncomfortable. I will be very worried if I can't be there to help take of my sister. I may have to ask my husband to stay at our house by himself, so I can be with the ladies.
Stay safe everyone
Best of luck with everything Tina!
The $%^&^%$# partial roof just blew off of my shed!!!! my silkies are in there with plywood now covering them and the DH and sons in this wind naiiling it back on.
Oh give me wine now............
That's my Easter Egger, Nana, and my Bichon, Charlie Brown.
They are storm watching with me.
Things here are good. We lost tv & Internet but have power.
I am knitting and baking bread. Are fence got blown down so
everytime a dog wants to go out (we have 3) I get to walk them
aroung the yard on a leash. The wind gusts are just crazy but no
rain. I can't wait to put the chickens back outside. They are not
happy, except my EE who thinks she should live in the house.
Broody and chicks are doing great. Chicks keep chirping all night
keeping me up but they are too cute to get mad at. It's too sweet when
the broody 'sings' to them. Oh I most likely will hatch more CL
in the spring. I love love love them.
Hope everyone is safe.
