I might have to consider them then! I think I’d like to branch out and try something other than a retriever or retriever mix lol I love them but I want something different. And also smaller. I don’t want a huge dog. Brew weighs around 60 lbs, possibly 65 now since he filled out some, but he’s below my knee. I think he was 19 inches? Tall when I measured but it could’ve been 21 inches. I will check again tonight. Either way, it wasn’t very tall at all. He’s short and compact LOL but proportionate and lean. Not like those frog things hahAmerican cocker spaniels are the BEST dogs ever!! I’ve had two in the past and they were so great! Have had plenty of Labsdefinitely not my favorite!!
I will be getting another cocker spaniel one day and want to have her trained to where we go visit nursing homes![]()
I love Brittanys! Great dogs.We have had Brittany spaniels. Very active dogs. They're also extremely intelligent and not only make great hunting partners, but general companionship too
Hmm interesting! Thanks!I feel like the English is similar to the Boykin… to me anyway. Maybe a bit smaller than the Boykin… Boone is around 45 pounds. American cockers are between 18-28 pounds. My boy Elvis was 28 pounds. Honestly, I wish they were a little smaller. I would be happy with 18 pounds max though…. I want a female next soooo![]()
