Speckled Sussex haven't laid in 5 months - any suggestions?

We have three Sussex that haven't given us a single egg in 5 months. The Buff Orp and two Americaunas lay regularly but not the Sussex. They're all 26 months old. Surely that's not TOO old for that breed, is it?

Any suggestions on what may be wrong or what we can do to get them laying again? If not, there's no sense in keeping them.

That's very strange. My first thought, being a Sussex owner myself, is that the little rascals are probably laying eggs somewhere you aren't aware of. Sussex are a very devilish breed, at least mine are.

Of course, if they are penned up all the time, that eliminates that explanation.
