Spitzhaubens

Interesting to hear.

My girls range from tiny spurs to, SPURS.

I was just wondering how common it was.

It isn't a disqualification on the SOP, so I haven't ever really paid attention.

Fan head sports pretty large spurs and a big comb. Her spurs could do damage.
How about changing "Fan head" to a name like Fannie or Fantasia?

BTW- I saw Spitzer & her chicks today. They're doing well and finally learned how to climb up the ramp to get into the coop at night. Our dear friend was trying to catch those little buggers to get them up every night. Last night, the last chick finally got it. She's so happy and hopes not to do that again. She also said that Spitzer doesn't come when called. Of course when I went into a squat, Spitzer came right up to me. LOL I gave our friend a helping of mealworms and told her to call them.... give mealworms.... call....mealworms, etc.

So, these four babies are seven weeks now. One has clearly developed this week and I guess that one is a rooster, but there is still hope for some hens right? I’m especially hopeful about the first one here!

I would say the first one is your girl, but I see wattles on all the others....
