This is my fifth and the worst hatch on my new brinsea incubator... I got 2 chicks with spraddled legs because of the damn slippery plastic floor... (now i know they include a hatching mat)..

BUT THAT HATCHING MAT is a one time use and i cant leave a step out my house because of corona.. Yet drive to baghdad for brinsea parts? Lmaoo

But back to the main topic..

I got 2 suffering yet strong baby quails... They are trying to eat and drink even though they have spraddled legs... Ive tried putting them in cups they got out of the cups and got worse... I got bandages but i couldn't control them to put the bandages...

ANY IDEAS PEOPLE?!?
Help pls

Wish I could help but I don’t know much about hatching. I’ve heard there’s some sort of trick where you can put them in a sock overnight???

I did something similar to this for my quail when they had splay leg:

You can also put them in a narrow cup to fix it. They push up and down and work their leg muscles. Their legs will start to straighten out. I do 2 hours in the cup and 2 hours out and continue until their legs are fixed.
THE BIRD WONT FREAKING STAND STILL.. even with 3 people we couldnt.. THE QUAIL IS TOO DAMN SMALL.... I almost went insane i was screaming at the bird to stay still... I just gave up and put it back... Hopefully it will die soon so it can no longer suffer..
